Still have questions?

Everything you need to know about accreditation, credits, certificates, and access.

Yes. All Ultrasound Town courses of the right topics are accepted by the ARDMS, ARRT, CCI, and Sonography Canada. Every course is approved by the ASRT for Category A credit, which is the credit type each of these bodies recognizes.

Here's your total and whether it has to match your registered specialty — by credentialing body:

ARDMS25 CME credits every 3 years (recently reduced from 30). For RDMS, RDCS, and RVT, credits can come from any sonography specialty — they don't have to match your registered area. Only the musculoskeletal credentials carry a specialty minimum (RMSKS: at least 10 credits in MSK; RMSK: all in MSK).
ARRT24 Category A credits every 2 years. Credits generally don't need to match your discipline — the one exception is the Sonography credential, which requires at least 16 of the 24 to be sonography-specific.
CCI36 CEUs every 3 years: 30 must be cardiovascular-related, plus 6 in any medical field. Both our Vascular and Echo courses count as cardiovascular — you're not limited to echo. Courses from other specialties count toward the 6 "any field" credits.
Sonography Canada40 CPD credits every 3 years (CPD is simply their term for CME). Credits must be sonography-based but can come from any specialty — you're not restricted to your registered area.

Requirements change over time and can vary by credential — always confirm the current rules with your credentialing body.

Yes — you can view and print the test questions at any time. Throughout each course, a lightbulb icon marks every section whose content a post-test question is based on. There are as many lightbulbs as there are questions, so you can see exactly which material you'll be tested on before you begin.

Your access is what's tied to the calendar year — not the course itself. For any individual course and the Discount Bundle, your access runs through December 31 of the year you sign up and then expires.

The Premium Bundle comes with extended access: it stays active through December 31 of the following calendar year.

Every course is crafted with an extensive array of sonographic and additional radiologic images that cover relevant pathologies. At the conclusion of each course, participants complete a test. The number of questions varies with the course's credit value, with a minimum of 8 questions per credit.

You can go entirely at your own pace — start, pause, and resume whenever it suits you.

You need to finish the course completely — every lesson marked complete, 100% progress. Your certificate is generated the moment you finish, ready to download, print and submit to your accrediting body.

Every certificate you earn stays stored in your account permanently, so you can download it again whenever you need it — there is no expiry and no limit.

To find them at any time: sign in, open My Dashboard, then click Certificates in the menu down the left-hand side. On a phone or tablet the same Certificates button sits along the top of your dashboard. You can also go straight there: ultrasoundtown.com/account/certificates

A certificate is available for download immediately upon 100% completion of the course — you may download and print it directly.

If you're an ARDMS member and choose to upload your certificate(s) to your ARDMS CME bank, under Sponsor Name* choose the ASRT Cat. A option. Your uploaded CMEs remain pending unless you're selected for the audit during your CME period. (ARDMS does not review uploaded CMEs unless the sonographer is selected for the audit process.)

Please note: certificates are issued in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), which may be a few hours ahead depending on your location.

ARRTReport your CE during your biennial renewal inside your ARRT online account, and keep the certificate for your records in case you're selected for an audit.
CCILog in to your My CCI account, then use "Submit and View Continuing Education Activities" in the Certification box.
Sonography CanadaLog in to your member account, open the CPD Tracker, and use the "Upload Credits" form to upload your certificate.

No. Your certificates are securely archived on your ultrasoundtown.com Dashboard and remain continuously accessible. Please provide them to your credentialing organization as needed.

If we learn that a child under 13 provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, subject to applicable legal requirements.

A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information may contact [email protected].

21. PATIENT INFORMATION AND HIPAA

The Services are not intended to receive or store:

•identifiable patient information;

•protected health information;

•patient medical records; or

•clinical images containing patient identifiers.

Do not submit such information through:

•the Site;

•course pages;

•quizzes;

•forms;

•surveys; or

•customer-support communications.

The Services should not be treated as a HIPAA-compliant patient-record system unless Ultrasound Town expressly states otherwise in a separate written agreement.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, Ultrasound Town does not enter into a business-associate relationship merely because a healthcare professional uses the Services.

If you inadvertently submit identifiable patient information, contact [email protected] promptly.

22. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND CONTENT

The Services may link to external websites, publications, videos or applications.

We do not control a third party’s privacy practices. Review the third party’s privacy policy before providing personal information.

23. BUSINESS TRANSFERS

If Ultrasound Town is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets or similar transaction, personal information may be reviewed, disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction.

Any recipient will be subject to applicable privacy obligations concerning the information.

24. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in:

•our Services;

•business practices;

•vendors;

•technology;

•legal requirements; or

•accreditation obligations.

The revised Policy will be posted with an updated date.

Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially changing how previously collected information is used.

Legal

Terms of Use

Originally effective March 1, 2020 · Last updated July 2026

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ultrasound Town, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Ultrasound Town,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms govern your access to and use of ultrasoundtown.com, our Thinkific-hosted learning environment, courses, assessments, certificates, educational materials, communications, and related products and services collectively referred to as the “Services.”

Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account, purchasing a course or bundle, selecting a checkbox indicating acceptance, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Services.

1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to purchase or use the Services independently.

By using the Services, you represent that:

•you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement;

•the information you provide is accurate and complete;

•you will use the Services only for lawful purposes; and

•you will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and professional requirements.

The Services are intended primarily for sonographers and other medical-imaging or healthcare professionals and students. Enrollment does not establish or verify that a learner holds any particular license, credential, education, competency or authority to practice.

2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

You may be required to create an account to purchase or access a course.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, including your legal name and a valid email address. When professional credentials, registry numbers or other information are requested, you are responsible for entering them accurately.

You must promptly update information that changes.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account credentials and for activity occurring through your account. You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access, credential theft or misuse.

We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to protect your credentials, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

3. INDIVIDUAL AND NONTRANSFERABLE ACCESS

Each account, purchase, enrollment, assessment and certificate is intended solely for the individual learner identified on the account.

You may not:

•share your account or password;

•allow another person to access a course through your account;

•complete an assessment for another person;

•permit another person to complete an assessment for you;

•share test questions, answers or answer keys;

•transfer, sell, sublicense or assign course access;

•submit false completion information;

•obtain or attempt to obtain a certificate through deception; or

•alter, fabricate, duplicate or misuse a certificate.

Organizations wishing to purchase courses for multiple learners must obtain a separate authorized enrollment for each learner unless Ultrasound Town agrees otherwise in writing.

4. PURCHASES AND PAYMENT

Prices are displayed before purchase and may change at any time. A price change will not ordinarily affect a purchase already completed.

You authorize Ultrasound Town and its payment processors to charge the payment method selected at checkout for the stated purchase amount and any applicable taxes.

Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe or PayPal. Those providers may apply their own terms and privacy practices. Ultrasound Town does not intentionally receive or store complete payment-card numbers.

You are responsible for:

•reviewing the course or bundle description before purchase;

•confirming the price and access period;

•confirming that the course is appropriate for your needs;

•confirming continuing-education eligibility with the applicable organization; and

•providing complete and accurate billing information.

A payment is not complete until it has been successfully authorized and processed.

5. TAXES AND CURRENCY

Prices may be stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated.

You are responsible for any sales, use, value-added, withholding or similar tax imposed on your purchase, except for taxes based on Ultrasound Town’s net income.

Where required, applicable taxes may be calculated and collected at checkout.

Your payment provider or financial institution may impose currency-conversion, international-transaction or other fees. Ultrasound Town does not control those fees.

6. COURSE AND BUNDLE ACCESS

Ultrasound Town offers individual courses and course bundles.

The applicable course description or checkout page may identify:

•the courses included;

•the number of continuing-education credits;

•the access period;

•the expiration date;

•the applicable approving body;

•assessment requirements; and

•other purchase-specific terms.

A bundle may provide access through a stated calendar year, two calendar years or another specified period. Access expires at the end of the period stated at purchase unless Ultrasound Town expressly extends it.

Unused access does not automatically carry forward after expiration.

You are responsible for completing courses, assessments and certificate requirements before access expires.

Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, expiration of access does not entitle you to a refund, extension, replacement course or credit for unused content.

7. COURSE AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

We may periodically update, correct, improve, reorganize, replace or remove course content.

Course titles, content, images, cine clips, instructors, included courses, credit values, prices, availability, technical features, approving bodies and accreditation status may change when reasonably necessary.

If a course in an active bundle becomes unavailable, we may, where reasonable:

•continue access to the existing course;

•provide an updated version;

•replace it with reasonably comparable content;

•provide another appropriate remedy; or

•take any action required by the approving body or applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms guarantees that every course will remain available indefinitely.

We will not intentionally reduce or remove continuing-education credit already properly earned and documented, except where correction is required because of error, fraud, invalid completion or direction from an approving or regulatory body.

8. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Individual courses

You may request a full refund for an individual course for any reason as long as a certificate has not been issued for that course and continuing-education credit has not been earned.

Once a certificate has been issued, the course is nonrefundable because the educational service and associated credit have been delivered.

Bundles

You may request a full refund for a bundle as long as no certificate has been issued for any course included in that bundle.

Once a certificate has been issued for any course in the bundle, the bundle is nonrefundable because a portion of the educational service and associated credit has been delivered.

Refund requests

To request a refund, email [email protected] and provide:

•the name on the account;

•the account email address;

•the course or bundle purchased; and

•sufficient information to identify the transaction.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Financial institutions and payment processors control when refunded funds appear in an account. Processing commonly takes several business days but may take longer.

Accidental and duplicate purchases

Contact us promptly regarding an accidental or duplicate purchase.

Eligibility for a refund will be determined under the rules above, applicable law, the purchase history and whether a certificate or credit has already been issued.

Bundle changes and downgrades

Bundles ordinarily cannot be partially refunded, divided, transferred or downgraded after purchase.

When appropriate, Ultrasound Town may cancel and refund an eligible purchase so the learner can complete a different purchase. Such accommodations are discretionary unless required by law.

Promotions

Promotional, discounted or complimentary enrollments may be subject to additional terms stated with the offer.

Complimentary courses and enrollments have no cash value and are not refundable.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this section limits any nonwaivable cancellation or refund right that applies under the law of the learner’s jurisdiction.

9. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, please contact us at [email protected] so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

We may suspend course access while a payment reversal, chargeback, suspected fraud or payment dispute is pending.

If a payment is reversed after a certificate has been issued, we may investigate the transaction, restrict the account, notify an applicable approving or credentialing organization where legally appropriate, and take reasonable steps to address fraud or misuse.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising a lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect charge.

10. ASSESSMENTS AND COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

Course requirements vary and are provided in the course description or learning environment.

Unless otherwise stated for a particular course:

•a learner must review and complete the required course content;

•a passing assessment score is at least 75%;

•assessment attempts may be limited to three;

•backtracking may be disabled;

•answers may not be changed after submission;

•the assessment must be completed by the enrolled learner; and

•a certificate will not be issued unless all requirements are satisfied.

After the permitted attempts are exhausted, the learner may be unable to continue, retake the assessment or receive a certificate unless Ultrasound Town authorizes another opportunity or the approving body requires a different procedure.

Ultrasound Town may use reasonable methods to protect assessment integrity, investigate irregular activity and confirm that requirements were completed by the registered learner.

We may withhold, invalidate or correct a certificate when there is reasonable evidence of:

•account sharing;

•answer sharing;

•impersonation;

•automated completion;

•certificate alteration;

•manipulation of course records;

•circumvention of assessment controls;

•material technical error; or

•other fraud or misconduct.

11. CERTIFICATES AND COMPLETION RECORDS

A certificate may include the learner’s name, course title, completion date, number and type of credits, activity information, approving-body information and other details required for educational or accreditation purposes.

You are responsible for:

•entering your name and credentials correctly;

•reviewing your certificate promptly;

•retaining copies of your certificates;

•submitting certificates or credits where required; and

•maintaining records needed for professional audits or renewals.

Ultrasound Town may correct a clerical or administrative error where appropriate. We may decline or limit a requested change when doing so would make the educational record inaccurate, conflict with platform records, violate accreditation requirements or impair record integrity.

A certificate documents completion of a particular educational activity. It does not represent licensure, certification, competency, clinical authorization, employment qualification or permission to practice.

12. COMPLETION DATES AND UTC TIME

Our learning platform or related systems may record events using Coordinated Universal Time, commonly known as UTC.

When a course is completed near midnight in the learner’s local time zone, the date displayed by the platform or certificate may differ from the local calendar date.

The platform’s recorded timestamp is ordinarily the official system record. When records permit, Ultrasound Town may provide a letter explaining a documented time-zone discrepancy, but we cannot guarantee that a third party will accept an alternative date or explanation.

13. CONTINUING-EDUCATION CREDIT

Course descriptions may identify courses as approved for ASRT Category A continuing-education credit or as designed for use by professionals credentialed through organizations such as ARDMS, ARRT, CCI or Sonography Canada.

Approval or acceptance by one organization does not guarantee acceptance by another.

The acceptance of any course, credit or certificate is determined by the applicable:

•registry;

•credentialing organization;

•licensing board;

•employer;

•jurisdiction;

•audit reviewer;

•renewal program; or

•other authority.

Requirements can change and may depend on the learner’s credential, specialty, reporting period, jurisdiction, previous course history or individual circumstances.

Before purchasing, you are responsible for confirming that a course meets your current requirements.

Ultrasound Town does not guarantee that a course or credit will be accepted for every certification, registration, license, specialty, employer requirement or audit.

14. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE

The Services provide continuing education and general professional education.

The content may discuss medical conditions, sonographic appearances, diagnostic considerations, clinical correlations, imaging protocols, case findings, differential considerations and professional practice.

The content is not:

•patient-specific medical advice;

•a medical diagnosis;

•medical treatment;

•legal advice;

•employment advice;

•a substitute for formal education, supervised training or competency validation;

•a direction to perform a particular procedure on a patient; or

•a substitute for independent professional judgment.

Educational examples may not represent every possible appearance, variation, complication or appropriate response.

15. SCOPE OF PRACTICE AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Sonographers contribute to patient care by obtaining, optimizing, documenting and communicating diagnostic imaging information. Unless independently authorized under applicable law and professional scope, sonographers aid in diagnosis rather than independently diagnosing patients.

Each learner remains responsible for:

•practicing within their education, competency and legal scope;

•following employer protocols and facility policies;

•complying with professional standards and applicable laws;

•recognizing when supervision or consultation is required;

•confirming current clinical and technical guidance;

•using independent professional judgment; and

•obtaining appropriate instruction before applying unfamiliar techniques.

Nothing in the Services expands a learner’s legal scope of practice or authorizes conduct prohibited by law, credentialing requirements or employer policy.

16. NO PATIENT-SPECIFIC RELATIONSHIP

Use of the Services does not create a clinician-patient, physician-patient, sonographer-patient, consultant-client, attorney-client or other fiduciary relationship between you and Ultrasound Town.

Questions submitted through the Site or customer support should not seek patient-specific diagnosis, treatment or management recommendations.

In an emergency or urgent medical situation, contact an appropriate healthcare professional or emergency service.

17. NO PATIENT INFORMATION OR PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION

The Services are not designed to receive or store patient medical records, identifiable clinical information or protected health information.

You must not upload, submit, email or otherwise transmit through the Services:

•patient names;

•dates of birth;

•medical-record numbers;

•accession numbers;

•facial photographs;

•identifying annotations;

•identifiable ultrasound images or cine clips;

•medical records;

•protected health information; or

•other information that identifies or could reasonably identify a patient.

You are responsible for properly de-identifying any information that Ultrasound Town has expressly agreed in writing to receive.

Do not treat the Site, course platform, quizzes, forms or customer-support email as a HIPAA-compliant clinical-record system.

Unless Ultrasound Town expressly agrees otherwise in writing, Ultrasound Town does not enter into business-associate agreements and does not accept responsibility for protected health information submitted in violation of these Terms.

If you submit patient information inadvertently, contact [email protected] promptly.

18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OWNERSHIP

The Services and Materials are owned by or licensed to Ultrasound Town and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws.

“Materials” include, without limitation:

•written course content;

•instructional language;

•case discussions;

•course organization;

•ultrasound images;

•cine clips;

•graphics;

•illustrations;

•downloadable resources; and

Except for the limited license expressly granted below, no ownership or intellectual-property right is transferred to you.

19. LIMITED LICENSE

Subject to your payment, eligibility and compliance with these Terms, Ultrasound Town grants you a limited, personal, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable and nonsublicensable license to access and use the purchased Materials for your own individual educational purposes during the applicable access period.

This license does not permit you to copy, publish, distribute, reproduce, publicly display, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, sell, license or commercially exploit the Materials.

Access to the Materials is licensed, not sold.

20. PROHIBITED USE OF MATERIALS

Without prior written authorization from Ultrasound Town, you may not:

•download content except where a download is expressly provided;

•copy or reproduce substantial portions of a course;

•photograph or screenshot content for redistribution;

•screen-record course content;

•record cine clips, video or audio;

•distribute course files;

•publish course content on social media, websites, applications or file-sharing services;

•share assessments, questions, answers or explanations;

•use automated tools to capture or reproduce Materials;

•reverse engineer security or access controls;

•bypass technical restrictions;

•use Materials to create competing courses, quizzes or educational products;

•use Materials as training, evaluation, retrieval or input data for an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system; or

•encourage another person to do any of these things.

Limited screenshots or quotations may be used only where expressly permitted by law and only to the extent legally permitted. No fair-use determination is granted in advance.

21. TRADEMARKS

Ultrasound Town, its logos, course branding and related names are trademarks or proprietary identifiers of Ultrasound Town, LLC.

You may not use them in a manner that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation or approval without written permission.

22. COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS

If you believe content available through the Services infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] containing:

•identification of the copyrighted work;

•identification and location of the allegedly infringing material;

•your contact information;

•a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized;

•a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act; and

•your physical or electronic signature.

Ultrasound Town may remove or restrict disputed content while reviewing a complaint.

23. USER COMMUNICATIONS AND FEEDBACK

When you submit a support request, review, suggestion, survey response or other communication, you retain ownership of your original content.

You grant Ultrasound Town permission to use the communication as reasonably necessary to:

•respond to you;

•administer the Services;

•investigate issues;

•maintain business records;

•prevent fraud;

•improve courses and customer service; and

•comply with legal obligations.

We will not publicly identify you in a testimonial or promotional endorsement without appropriate permission.

Suggestions and general feedback may be used to improve the Services without an obligation to compensate you, provided we do not claim ownership of your preexisting intellectual property.

24. ACCEPTABLE CONDUCT

You may not use the Services to:

•violate any law;

•infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;

•submit unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory or deceptive content;

•harass Ultrasound Town personnel or other users;

•introduce malware or harmful code;

•interfere with Site operation;

•probe or test vulnerabilities without permission;

•gain unauthorized access;

•impersonate another person;

•manipulate assessments or certificates;

•commit fraud;

•submit patient information in violation of these Terms; or

•assist another person in prohibited conduct.

25. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Services rely on or may integrate with third parties, including course-hosting, payment, email, media-hosting, cloud, security and other technology providers.

These providers operate under their own terms and policies. Their services may be modified, interrupted or discontinued independently of Ultrasound Town.

Ultrasound Town is not responsible for a third party’s independent acts, omissions, content, security or availability, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

26. EXTERNAL LINKS

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, articles, clinical resources, publications or applications.

Links are provided for reference or convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement.

Ultrasound Town does not control and is not responsible for external content, accuracy, availability, security or privacy practices. You access third-party resources at your own discretion.

27. WEBSITE AND SERVICE AVAILABILITY

We work to maintain reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuously available Services.

Access may be affected by:

•maintenance;

•updates;

•internet or utility failures;

•platform outages;

•cyber incidents;

•third-party service failures;

•browser or device limitations;

•force majeure events; or

•circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to maintain, secure, update or protect the Services.

28. DEVICE AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

You are responsible for maintaining:

•a compatible device;

•a supported browser;

•reliable internet access;

•functioning audio and video capabilities where needed;

•an active email address; and

•any software reasonably required to access the Services.

We do not guarantee compatibility with every device, browser, operating system, workplace network or accessibility tool.

Please contact us when a technical issue interferes with access. We will make reasonable efforts to investigate issues within our control but cannot guarantee resolution of third-party or device-specific problems.

29. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We may suspend, restrict or terminate an account or enrollment when we reasonably believe that:

•these Terms have been materially violated;

•payment has been reversed or not completed;

•the account has been shared;

•assessment integrity has been compromised;

•a certificate has been altered or obtained improperly;

•Materials have been copied or distributed without authorization;

•the account presents a security risk;

•fraud or unlawful conduct has occurred;

•patient information has been submitted improperly;

•the user has harassed or threatened others; or

•suspension is reasonably necessary to protect Ultrasound Town, learners or third parties.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct a violation. Immediate action may be taken where misconduct, fraud, security, safety or legal compliance requires it.

Termination does not eliminate payment obligations or provisions intended to survive termination.

30. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services and Materials are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.

Ultrasound Town does not warrant that:

•the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free;

•all content will always be current, complete or free from inadvertent error;

•every clinical condition will appear as illustrated;

•every course will satisfy a learner’s individual requirements;

•every organization will accept a certificate;

•every device will be compatible;

•defects will always be corrected immediately; or

•the Services will be free from every harmful component or unauthorized intrusion.

Nothing in this section excludes an express commitment stated in writing or a warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.

31. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ultrasound Town, LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, licensors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, profits, business opportunity, credentialing opportunity or professional standing, arising from or related to the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ultrasound Town’s aggregate liability arising from or relating to a particular purchase or use of the Services will not exceed the greater of:

•the amount you paid Ultrasound Town for the course or bundle giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability; or

•one hundred U.S. dollars.

These limitations apply regardless of whether a claim is based on contract, warranty, tort, negligence, statute or another legal theory and regardless of whether the possibility of damage was disclosed.

The limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct or other nonwaivable obligations.

Some jurisdictions do not permit particular exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, this section applies only to the maximum extent permitted.

32. INDEMNIFICATION

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ultrasound Town, LLC and its officers, employees and contractors from third-party claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising from your:

•material violation of these Terms;

•unlawful use of the Services;

•infringement of another person’s rights;

•unauthorized sharing or distribution of Materials;

•fraudulent assessment or certificate activity;

•submission of identifiable patient information; or

•use of the Services outside your lawful professional scope.

This obligation does not require you to indemnify Ultrasound Town for its own fraud, willful misconduct or liability that cannot lawfully be shifted.

Ultrasound Town will provide reasonable notice of an indemnified claim and will not settle a claim imposing a personal admission or nonmonetary obligation on you without reasonable consultation.

33. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the law of your jurisdiction provides consumer protections that cannot lawfully be waived.

34. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND VENUE

Before filing a legal action, you and Ultrasound Town agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.

A written dispute notice should include:

•the name and email associated with the account;

•a description of the dispute;

•relevant transaction information; and

•the requested resolution.

Notices to Ultrasound Town may be sent to [email protected].

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any court proceeding arising from these Terms or the Services must be brought in a state or federal court having jurisdiction in Pinellas County, Florida.

You and Ultrasound Town consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

This provision does not prevent either party from bringing an eligible matter in small-claims court or seeking urgent injunctive relief concerning intellectual property, fraud, unauthorized access or security.

35. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

By using the Services, you consent to receive transactional and service-related communications electronically, including communications concerning:

•purchases;

•account access;

•course enrollment;

•progress;

•assessments;

•certificates;

•security;

•policy updates;

•refunds; and

•customer support.

These communications are part of administering the Services and may continue even if you unsubscribe from promotional marketing.

Marketing communications are governed separately by your marketing preferences and applicable law.

You are responsible for maintaining a working email address and reviewing messages sent to it.

36. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, business practices, technology, law, accreditation requirements or risk.

The revised Terms will be posted with a new “Last updated” date.

Material changes ordinarily apply prospectively. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance.

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

Changes will not retroactively eliminate rights already earned or impose materially different obligations on a completed transaction unless permitted by law and appropriately communicated.

37. ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign or transfer your account, enrollment or rights under these Terms without written permission.

Ultrasound Town may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets or transfer of the Services, subject to applicable law.

38. FORCE MAJEURE

Ultrasound Town is not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, severe weather, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, labor disruption, utility failure, internet outage, government action, cyberattack or third-party platform failure.

This provision does not excuse obligations that cannot lawfully be excused.

39. SEVERABILITY

If a court determines that any provision is invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.

40. NO WAIVER

A failure or delay in enforcing a provision does not waive that provision or any other right.

A waiver is effective only if stated in writing by an authorized representative of Ultrasound Town.

41. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable refund terms and any purchase-specific terms presented at checkout constitute the agreement between you and Ultrasound Town concerning the Services.

If purchase-specific terms directly conflict with these Terms, the more specific terms control for that purchase, unless prohibited by law.

42. SURVIVAL

Provisions concerning intellectual property, prohibited conduct, payment obligations, certificates, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution and other provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective after expiration or termination.

Getting started

How it works

Thank you for choosing Ultrasound Town. The bundle of all available courses — or any course purchased individually — is accessible for the entire calendar year in which you sign up (through December 31 of that year).

Inside the course player

Ultrasound Town course player

Preview the test anytime. A preview of the multiple-choice questions is available throughout the course — print it and mark your answers as you go.

Work through the lessons. All lessons appear on the left. Select Complete & Continue to advance — you must finish every lesson to earn the certificate.

Watch for the lightbulb. A lightbulb icon marks any slide that contains information addressed on the post-test.

Progress is saved. Your overall progress shows in the upper-left. Log out anytime — you'll pick up right where you left off. 100% completion is required for the certificate.

Return to your dashboard. Select Go to Dashboard in the upper-left of the player to reach your dashboard and account settings.

Completion times are in UTC. Certificate completion times are recorded in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), so the timestamp may be a few hours ahead of your local time depending on your location.

Your path to the certificate

1

Complete the lessons

Move through every lesson at your own pace and mark each one Complete & Continue. You must complete 100% of the course before the test unlocks.

2

Take the test

Once all lessons are done, select Take the Test to be redirected to our testing center. The number of questions is based on the course's credit amount (at least 8 questions per credit), and the minimum passing score is 75%. You have 3 attempts to pass.

3

Claim your certificate

When you pass, select Back to Ultrasound Town, log back in, choose your course, and claim your certificate. Every certificate you earn is stored on your dashboard for you to access anytime.

Reporting & uploading your certificate

Your certificate is available for download immediately upon 100% completion — you may download and print it directly. Every course is ASRT-approved Category A, which is the credit type each body below accepts.

ARDMSLog in to your ARDMS CME bank and upload the certificate(s). Under Sponsor Name*, choose the ASRT Cat. A option. Uploaded CMEs remain pending unless you're selected for the audit during your CME period. (ARDMS does not review uploaded CMEs unless the sonographer is selected for the audit process.)

Please be advised that certificates are issued in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), which may be a few hours ahead depending on your location. Rules can change — always confirm the current process with your credentialing body.
